Our journey began in 1932 when an innovative seedsman, H. Ray Hastings, founded All-America Selections. From there, we have grown to be the premier North American plant trialing organization. Our goal here is to be a conduit for all plant trialers to discover, learn and share best practices for all types of trials.
Some Things...
Many aspects of the way plant trials were conducted in the early days (number of plant repeats, observations, data collections and scoring) has continued to today.
...Stay the Same
Those same trialing practices are still in use today but with many more data points and more sophisticated collection tools. Any way you slice it, trialing still retains its importance.
